“England has what it takes to win from here,” a former wicketkeeper warns Team India sternly

England finished day three’s play at 67/1, needing 332 more runs to win in two days with nine wickets remaining against India as they chased a massive 399. India has so far shown incredible bat and ball skills. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, for example, started run-fests against an English attack that relied heavily on spin, and Jasprit Bumrah went on a rampage, taking six wickets at a career-best 6 for 45.

The pursuit of 399 seems to be an impossible goal for England given the potency of India’s bowling attack, but former India wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel believes that the visitors can go all out to win this series for the second time in a row.

After the third day of play, Virat Kohli expressed his opinion on Jio Cinema, stating that England’s batting still poses a serious danger to India. He cited England’s achievement of over 400 runs in Hyderabad, where the pitch was much worse.

“There is no denying the existence of serious risks. Additionally, Zak Crawley is hitting brilliantly at the crease right now, so I believe England can win from here. With 332 runs remaining, they can win without a doubt, but their batting has also been in excellent form, Parthiv Patel told Jio Cinema.

“An additional is that you scored over 400 runs in the second innings while playing in Hyderabad on a poor surface. Thus, he said, “England has that batting to finish this run chase.

India has essentially entered the game: Gill

Shubman Gill feels that after setting a challenging goal of 399 for England, the hosts are quite much in the game. In India’s second innings total of 255, he hit his third century in Test cricket, smashing 104 off 147 balls. It was also his first century in the longest version of the game as a number three hitter.

It’s a really good wicket to bat on, in my opinion. It’s difficult to score runs because you can’t hit while the ball is rising and you have to work hard because sometimes the ball turns and stays low. After the third day of play, Gill said, “Hopefully, if we get the right number of balls in the right area tomorrow, we’ll get the job done.”

“I think we are currently about 70-30 in the game; we are pretty much in it.” We’ve seen dampness for the faster bowlers and spinners, so I believe the morning session will be crucial. If you get the appropriate amount of balls in the correct spot, it should be OK, he said.
